This scrub has been a staple in my skin care routine for over 5 years now. I not only use it on my face but on my body as well. A tube will last you at least 2 months, the smell is fantastic and the grainy little bits help completely get rid of any dead layers of skin. I used to use this daily when my skin was acting up but have since eased back and now only use it once or twice a week, or when I feel like my skin needs some extra oomph. You can also use this scrub exfoliate under your arms (great to lighten and avoid discolouration, on your shoulders, or really any rough area you want to make oh so soft. *I have to mention the St.Ives Green Tea scrub here as well, because at one point I wanted to dabble in something besides the Apricot one but found the green tea was too drying for my already dry skin. But the Green Tea in the scrub does help with evening out your skin tone and helps reduce inflammation/redness.
Tip 2: You can give your nose a really deep clean by steaming your face and then using this scrub to get all the gunk out! It really works.
St.Ives Mineral Clay Firming Mask
Price: $8.99 at Shoppers or $4.99 if they sell it at grocery stores

I don’t think I have enough positive things to say about this mask. This is probably one of the newest additions to my skincare routine in recent years. My sister actually gave me her full tube because said she didn’t like it (I later convinced her to give it another shot, and she loved it!!) This mask is gentle enough to use weekly but cleans deep enough that I compare it to some brand name Sephora Masks I have tried in the past *cough*Glam Glow*cough*. The mask goes on smooth and spreads easily. It comes out pretty thick so you don’t need a lot. One tube lasts me over 3 months! It takes about 10-15 minutes for the mask to dry and then you wash it off with warm water. The mask will tighten your pores and give your face a good thorough cleanse. I always feel like my skin tone is a shade lighter after I use this because it does such a good job. Another way I use the mask is as a spot treatment. The mask is really good at drying out pesky pimples or even crater zits that lay just below the skin. If I get handsy and pop a zit, I put this over it at night and sleep with it on. In the morning, the size, redness and damage are hugely reduced! This is great for people who have oily, combo or dry skin.
